My bathroom has a stoothing wall covered with ceramic tiles.I want to remove the existing tiles and fit new ones. What are the pitfalls and possible solutions?
My bathroom has a stoothing wall covered with ceramic tiles.I want to remove the existing tiles and fit new ones. What are the pitfalls and possible solutions?
We do not know what a stoothing wall is but we would love to know.
If it is a plasterboard wall you need to use a wide scraper as a “chisel” and push behind the tiles rather than use a hammer. The chances are however that you will cause damage. If you do please go to the DIY Doctor projects section and look at the project on repairing holes in plasterboard.
