Hi can anyone help I have just noticed 2 wet patches on my living room walls. The patches smell musty or like a gas smell (its quite awful). Does anyone know what it might be or who to get in touch with to find out. My living room is smelling a little. many thanks

    If the damp spots are below the height of 1.2m on the ground floor, it could be rising damp but this is not a diagnosis. Without actually looking (inside and out) it is very difficult to diagnose damp problems as a surprising amount are simply caused by condensation.
