I cannot stop the squeaking of the 1st floor which is a suspended floor on a fairly new house. We can hear the noise as family members walk around above us.

Can anyone shed any light as to why, with a boiler that’s been serviced and is working perfectly, I lose my hot water when the weather gets really cold (like today) ? It’s a Gloworm Flexicom (not a combi). The Central heating works less well too (a combination of underfloor and radiators) – but does still get warm. The water however, is really cold!
Could you please advise me as to the placement and proximity of the mains water stop tap with regard to the electric meter and the consumer unit? I have spoken to the builders and they tell me that there isn’t anything that regulates this type of scenario, but surely there must be something that says water pipes should be such a distance away from the power supply!
Is it possible to insert a gravel board between two concrete post without taking the fence panel out completely?
I wonder if anybody has an idea what my problem could be. I have a Randall 3060 programmer for my central heating. In the morning it is set at Heat Off Water Twice, with the Thermostat at nil. Despite this, increasingly, the radiators come on red hot in the morning. The programmer is fairly old but it occurs that it may be a simple fault with something else. Any suggestions appreciated.
