A new ecohome marketing campaign has been announced by Homebase, which they aim to launch from mid-October in 50 of their stores, with the plan to roll-out to all their stores by the end of 2011.
The £2.5 million investment is supposed to help consumers save energy and will see 3D ‘ecohome’ displays placed in-store. These will feature touch screen POS, energy saving information leaflets and information on installation services which Homebase have started in association with EON.
A spokesman said ‘The ecohome in stores demonstrate how easy it is for customers to make their homes more energy efficient, The message to customers is that small changes in lifestyle can make a big difference to energy bills.’
