The construction and building Industry has its own language! The terminology used by builders and tradesmen can leave the ordinary mortal scratching their head. At DIY Doctor we hadn't realised how bad we tradespeople were at confusing others with unintelligible jargon until one of our technical engineers started to speak to us in computer speak. Wow, the lights came on. Now we try and keep our pages as easy to understand as possible but just in case you don't get it, here is the largest builders dictionary in the world. (probably!)
