To qualify for our advertising guarantee, customers must have undertaken (by signature or advance payment) a 12 month advertising contract from 01 July 2008 Their advertising spend must equal or exceed £900 + VAT. If a customer is offered a percentage discount for payment within 14 days of invoice and the fee fails to arrive within that period, the same percentage will be deducted from the advertising period on offer.
Advertising creative must be supplied by customers. Format will be advised. Any changes made to the customer website which could affect linking or contextual relevance must be reported to DIY Doctor in order for us to re link or list the new or appropriate pages.
Customers claiming free advertising from this guarantee must be able to provide accurate records of visitors to their web site from DIY Doctor via a recognised statistics program. These records will be checked against the records automatically kept by DIY Doctor Ltd. DIY Doctor can help you with this free of charge. We would expect regular monthly emails from customers wanting to get the best out of their advertising and checking up on conversion or click through rates. If we do not hear from you we will assume your advertising is going well and you have no need for updates or repositioning. Advertisers must be able to show that they have systems in place to record the origin of a customer not visiting them via their website. Diy Doctor will occasionally make "Mystery Shopper" approaches to its advertisers to understand the standard of customer service.. No notice or warning will be given but a report will be offered after such an approach.
Under this guarantee, the ability of your site to convert visitors into customers will be considered.
As is usual business practice in a web based business you must be able to show accurate records of your conversion rates. If DIY Doctor has sent you a substancial amount of users but you have failed to convert them into customers you will not qualify for the guarantee. This guarantee is an offer from DIY Doctor against the volume of traffic it sends to its advertisers websites and not a guarantee that they will make sales to these visitors. Sales are the responsibility of the advertiser.
