15 to 22mm ?

by jazzy220 » Wed Oct 27, 2010 4:47 pm

Hi I have a 15mm mains cold water supply going directly to a hot water heater in the kitchen, electric shower, and of course toilet and 2 sinks in total. I am re routing the pipework (new kitchen) so would there be any reason at all for stepping up to 22mm along the run and if so why.

No need at all - as you say the feed to the heater is 15mm - so you can't get more water out than what you put in .
