150 Litre Horizontal Boiler Dropped From 6ft - is it ok?

Post by mccsandi » Thu Nov 27, 2014 8:20 am

Our new electrical 150 litre horizontal boiler was not secured properly and fell 6 ft. It has been re-installed and appears to work but I'm concerned that it has internal, no visible damage that could be dangerous or cause future problems. Should we replace it ?

Entirely up to you, as you don't give the make model it's not possible to give advice on things to check.

If it's a cylinder with electrical connections, I would check for leaks, get an electrician to check electrical components, if they're okay then there's no need to replace.
