2 out of 4 is bad

by stufran » Fri Aug 17, 2007 7:24 pm

hi
spent all day wiring downlights and now 2 out of 4 dont work

couldnt get to light circuit, so spurred of ring main into a FCU with a 5 amp fuse then into 20amp 4 terminal junction box including switch.

From there Daisy chain wiring into 4x50w mains downlights.

No 1 works
No 2 works
No 3 Dosn't
No 4 Dosn't  :x

Tried everything ,rewired No3, changed bulb in No3, changed whole fitting for no3 still nothing

Any advice out there? :( :(

Hi , did you look at connections in no. 2? even if you 'Neon-tested' @ no.3, there may be a loose Neutral in ftg. 2,
