2nd shower

by JG214 » Wed Mar 04, 2009 9:54 am

Can someone please advise.....
If I have a 2/3 bar pump which is adequate to pump 2 showers, where would i tee into to get my 2nd supply of hot and cold water for the 2nd shower?
Can i tee into the pipework just behind the existing shower and feed through the wall to the 2nd shower or does it need to be closer to the pump?
Also if the house has already got a 1.5 bar pump and i fit a 2/3 bar pump, will i have to get a larger cistern?

Thanks

JG214,
T in anywhere after the pump.
If you have a 50 gallon tank you will probably run out of hot water before draining the tank, whether you will need a larger tank will depend on the mains water pressure.
