Hi all,
I bought a 60s house recently and the front wall is a bit odd as it seems to be more like a stud wall in places. For example, under the front room window it sounds like a stud wall down to the floor but slightly to the right it feels solid.
I would like to reduce external noise at the front of the house (coming in from outside) and this seems like a good place to start. Has anyone come across this before and/or have any idea how to beef it up without rebuilding the whole wall?
