Adapting an outbuilding to a utility room

by foxymadam » Tue Jul 22, 2008 9:50 am

I have a brick outbuilding which is approximately 2 meters from my house and I would like to turn it into a utility room.

Can someone tell me the best way to put a water supply into the building for the washing machine.

Thanks very much.

Hi Foxym!

Yep, water pipe  sorry couldn't resist. If you can, I'd use 20mm plastic pipe underground.

Hth

Thats OK Steve :D and thanks for the information.

I'm hoping to do most of the conversion myself in order to save some money so I can have the kitchen of my dreams!!!
