advice needed by new spark
hello, can anyone please give me some advice on the best way ( minimal damage) to re wire a lighting circuit in a ground floor flat, non surface, platerboard cielings, upstairs is in accesable due to floor being stone tiles, i understand and so does the owner that some cieling damage will have to occur but would appreciate any advice from experience or lateral thinking, many thanx, matt
Hi, as now allowed to run behind covings (safe zone) find out which way joists run, 'fish' from light point to wall then wire room, if sw. drops in conduit cut at cove depth with careful use of sharp chisel/hammer or use small angle grinder when conduit located, or may have to chase down wall to sw. loop on to next room etc, then u just have to convince L.L. he needs new coving every where,B.W.
