at the very least its worth getting a couple more quotes and certainly a couple more opinions on that powerflush.
rosebery & htg - thanks for the clarification on powerflush issue. must admit i'd always assumed it was a stipulation by the manufacturer when fitting a new boiler to existing system. i have clearly misunderstood.
