Advise Needed Please for Replacing Only Wash Basin and not Pedestal

by Cosmo » Wed Nov 29, 2017 4:03 pm

Hi,
I need to replace my bathroom wash basin. I need to retain the existing pedestal as the floor covering is cut around it.

The basin is 560 x 460 (approx) and I would like to replace with a 400 x 300 ish.
My question is: Will it fit onto the existing pedestal and pipework?
A more or less straight swap?

Thanks

Cosmo

you will need to look at technical drawing on the new basin you are looking at, these will show you where the waste is on the basin, normally a good indication of where the ped sits. this distance will need to be same as insisting , or close.
