air brick

Does the air brick need to be above or below the damp course membrane ?

Given the choice i'd install one below. As a surveyor i see plenty of air bricks above and below DPC's the overiding issue is that there is one. Installing one above the DPC could allow penetrating damp (through the airbrick) to affect ground floor timbers.
