Air lock in Gravity Shower

HI
The water was turned off in the house , and the tank in the loft ran low , all the cold watertapes were air locked which i got cleared . the shower is airlocked , i have turned on all the cold water tapes to clear the air lock but no joy . i dont want to call out a plumber for this any help out there ??

Borrow/hire a wet vac, remove the shower head and suck on the end of the hose with the shower on.

Backfill by holding shower hose over/connecting to main cold water supply - not enough to cause the tank to overflow though.
