Bad trickling condensation on double glazed windows

by mgdiy » Tue Oct 28, 2008 2:18 pm

Bad trickling condensation appears on our double glazing due to the drop in temperature now winter has set in. Is there anything I can do to stop this? Or control it at least?

The windows are very large UPVC double glazed and do not have radiators underneath. Would having radiators underneath, heat the window up and so stop the condensation?

Any hints or tips gratefully received. :?

Condensation of d/glazed windows

Hi there, having radiators underneath the windows will not unfortunately effect the condensation. 'Trickle-Vents' which are inserted into the UPVC frames of the effected windows could have a positive benefit in combating condensation. Thanks
