Barn on greenbelt

by Mordzy » Sun Aug 05, 2012 4:22 pm

Hi, I have about 3 acres of land and have recently purchased a tractor and baler so I can make my own hay from the fields. Unfortunately the shed I have is too small to get my tractor in and the hay I'd produce.

Do I need planning permission to build a wooden type barn/Carrage house ( single story) for this purpose. With out such I wouldn't be able to look after the land properly and would prevent me keeping live stock in the future.

Thanks

it depends on a number of factors,if its not sympathetic with the surrounds, the height of the building, and the location are just a few,all you can do is ask
