Base Fixture for Bayonet cap Pendant Light

by Rogerrocket » Tue May 23, 2017 12:31 pm

I was undoing the screws on the base part of the light fitting ( i.e. the unit that the bulb goes into) to connect the cable when the bits shot out of the unit. There is a terminal cap I.e the cup shaped piece of metal that makes contact with the lightbulb, a spring, a small t shaped piece of metal and the small screw which holds the wire in place. Can someone tell me in what order the bits go back into the base unit please.

Buy a new lamp holder, not worth repairing.

And would be very frustrating to get all the bits back in place, that is if they ever would.
Couple of GBP will sort a new one out for you.
