Bath drain height and waste mainfold

Post by barkby123 » Fri Mar 21, 2008 2:29 pm

I am installing a new bath which is lower than the old one, which means that the bath outlet is higer than the socket on the waste boss and the water will not drain properly from the bath. I have seen a watse manifold which would fit beneath the waste boss and give a suitable incline for the pipe. Is this possible? Are there any problems with the toilet discharging into the waste boss just above the manifold?
