Bathroom basin mixer taps with low pressure hot water

Post by DeanThomas » Fri Dec 23, 2016 6:11 pm

we have just had the tap installed, it said on the description that it was high and low pressure, the cold comes out quite fast as per the old one, but the hot has not much pressure , was there something the plumber should have changed on the tap, to change it from high to low pressure .

not lightly, but the flexible hoses that come with the taps can come with different bores. The other possibility is the cold is off the mains water & the hot is off gravity from a tank. if this was the case the mains cold would be fine, but the hot would be slow.
