Currently upgrading a gravity hot water/pumped heating to an S plan.Customer wants the bath radiator to come on with hot water, oviousley we have to tee off before zone valve.Problem is how to set this up so that when cylinder stat satisfied it wont turn the radiator off? Thank you :?
Basically you can't - the way you have described it - the radiator will heat when water is calling for heat.
When the stat reaches temperature the burner/boiler will shut off. Heat will be lost through the radiator, so that should keep the boiler cycling on and off - but will you have hw on 24/7 just to keep radiator warm ?
Do you want boiler to run - to heat one radiator ?
