Bathroom shaverpoint.

by Dusty Bin » Sat Mar 22, 2008 12:15 pm

I want to fit a shaver point in my bathroom. Is it O.K. to use the cable supplying power to the bathroom light -which would be very easy- or will I have to run a cable from the mains -which is more difficult.
Would appreciate advise.
Many Thanks.

Hi assuming you are prepared to take a chance on doing reportable works yourself [see 'projects' Part-P building regs] then most likely you can take from light fitting, if more than one cable @ fitting then is possible.
