    baxi back boiler

    Postby mich12 » Tue Jun 05, 2007 3:40 pm

We have a back boiler. Our water is heating up fine, if we have it on just heating up water and on timer, but if we switch it to heating and water, it blows the fuse and doesnt do anything.

Anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem :? :?

I take it, it's a pumped Central Heating and Gravity Hot Water system. if the boiler is working on water only, but not on water and heating, there's a problem with the pump, new pump required.

Grundfos pump about £60. If pump valves turn off without leaking, you can just change the pump head this is the 4 bolts holding the pump head to the body, you'll see when you look at the old or new pump. Electrical connections are easy.
