Baxi Bermuda VP replacement

Dear all..
I have at the moment a VERY old system - Baxi Bermuda VP - the fire is broken but the boiler is still working fine.. I would like a replacement fire but after calling Baxi CS they have informed me that they stopped making replacement fires for this system time ago.. I have searched for a second hand one but with them being so old I am finding this very difficult..
Also the fire front is very dated and would prefer a newer version..
Can you connect another Baxi fire front model to the existing boiler?!
There are several systems for sale online but not sure what my options are?!
Could I buy an updated version - from mine - and replace to the flue and pipes already fitted?!
I can't really afford brand new so was thinking of purchasing a pre loved version ie: Baxi Bermuda 57/3, and just updating what I already have..

Any advice would be greatfully appreciated..
