Baxi combi 105he intermittent fault

by lowcorsa » Fri Sep 06, 2013 6:50 pm

Hi, I'm having a problem with my boiler, baxi combi 105he, I've searched and don't seem to be able to find anyone having/had the same problem.

The problem is, when hot tap is turned on the boiler fires up as it should, but then it seems to trip out, as though the hot water is turned off (pilot light goes out) but the 70 degree light flashes. If the tap is left running it can sometimes fire back in again but cuts off again straight after.
I can see the micro switch being activated when it fires and cuts off.

The central heating works as it should until the hot taps are turned on at the same time. Then the same problem happens.

The problem doesn't happen all the time, there could be weeks between troubles.

Any help would be great, before I call the professionals in.
Thanks.

That means the hot water sensor is faulty.

Thanks. I'll look into replacing that.
