Block paving drive

I propose to clear the block paving drive of weeds.

How I propose to do this:

1. Spray at great expense with weed killer [Can't find anywhere to buy in 5litr cans S.E UK] allowing weeds to die off.

2. Pressure spray out dead foilage allowing to dry.

3. Brush silver sand in joints.

Or is there a better way?
