Blowing Light Bulbs

I have had an external security light installed. The light is pir controlled via a fused switchable connection unit. In just over three weeks two bulbs have blown. The light appeared to work fine. I bought the light from homebase complete with two bulbs. Any ideas what may be causing the bulbs to blow?

See our project on blowing light bulbs and get them from somewhere else.

Thanks for the reply.....seems cheapo bulbs are not recommended!!
