boiler spits water when hot taps used

by locket » Fri Jul 18, 2008 3:55 pm

My Alpha combi sprays water onto the wall behind it every time the hot water is used. I had not noticed this until the expansion vessel was replaced a couple of months ago. The latest engineer (of four) said, after searching for leaks, this was normal - it is damaging the wall behind. Is this true? What can I do?

Not normal at all.

What can I do ? - fix the leak.

Can you find where the leak is coming from ?
Auto Airvent, joint, split pipe, pressure vessel ????

Also try getting an engineer that's into fixing boilers, not fobbing people off.
