bonding old foundations to new foundations

i have to build foundations for single storey extension to the rear of a house. the specification asks me to 'bond the new foundations to the old foundations where the abut with 12mm bent mild steel bar and epoxy resin'. Has anybody any idea how to do this?

you need to drill holes to the existing foundation at place, depth and diameter specified, fill the with epoxy resins and add the steel bar. Those bar will the be casted into the new concrete foundation connecting it to the existing.
There are very specific details of how and where they need to be installed depending on size of bars and strength required.
