My Bristan Bar Thermostatic shower is only getting luke warm with the temperature on max, yet the bar itself is getting quite hot. So it looks like the cartridge inside is a bit clogged. To take the cartridge out do I need to shut the water off? Or will I get away with just keeping the shower turned off?
I only ask as I don't think there are any separate valves for the shower (unless they're in the wall) so Ill need to shut the water off to the house and drain the hot water tank!
