Broken Marley Floor Tiles

by DickEyeJoe » Thu May 13, 2010 12:44 pm

Hello,

I have removed a carpet and underneath there are broken Marley vinyl floor tiles along the floor edges where previous carpet fitters have nailed gripper rods.

What is the best product to fill out the gaps and level the floor before new carpet is fitted.

For example would self levelling compound or something similar be the best product ?

I presume that the product will need to withstand the nails for the new gripper.

Thanks
