Broken Mixer Tap - Are Internals Standard or do I Need a new Tap?

by booktownman » Mon Jun 30, 2014 7:30 pm

This (see below) has happened to my bathroom mixer tap - the shaft controlling the mixer valve has sheared away from the valve internals.

The tap was fitted about ten yrs ago - no idea of make or model. Is this kind of thing standard to replace? Or am I looking at a new tap?

Cheers in advance,

BTM

Hi booktownman
There's not a lot you can do with that without any info of manufacturer etc.
A nice new one is the answer.
