builders drilling through wall
hi there, i wonder if anyone out there could give me some advice. last week a bulider working next door drilled through my wall in my lounge causing a 6 inch hole :x . as you can imagine i am not best pleased. the builder came around and saw the hole for himself, and said i will let the owner know. he hasn't even been around to look at what his builders have done. I gather he is responsible to get this repaired & paid for. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Clearly, the builder is at fault here, and I am shocked that when informed he didn't immediately apologise and make arrangements for repairs.
I would not expect your neighbour to be responsible for the cost of the repair, but must ensure they are carried out.
