Building Dormer Window
I am currently erecting a timber framed kit house (One & half storey) which has a dormer window in it. I have fitted all the upstairs trusses except where the dormer goes (The trusses for this have been supplied loose. Can someone advise on a step by step process of what I need to do to fit the dormer. For example would I sheet the roof first and cut the space for the dormer out or would that be more bother than it's worth. You will have probably gathered by now that I am not a joiner but have a reasonably good idea of what to do if pointed in the right direction. Any help or link's to information appreciated.
