Building Regulations sign-off - can this be revoked?

    Postby gingerjuice » Wed Apr 06, 2011 1:17 pm

Hi - I've recently completed an extension to my kitchen and added a conservatory to this. I have received sign-off from Building Control for the extension and didn't need this for the conservatory but now I want to add a radiator in the conservatory itself ready for next winter.

If I add the radiator, does this mean that my Building Regs sign-off will no longer apply or be revoked? Can this happen? Is there a problem if I do this?

    Thanks. :)

you shouldn't put a radiator in the conservatory, as this building doesn't comply with insulation building regs. thats why BR require a door to seperate the house from the conservatory. putting a rad in there is like heating your garden, plain silly. it is a warm weather room only
