building up an entrance

Hi,
Building up an opening 45"x110" which is 2ft above the ground with 4" blocks, would starter kits be a good idea to use for securing to the existing walls.

you can use bluebird starter ties from your local builders merchants.You can buy them individually so cheaper for you.
