buying in italy
my friend and i want to renovate our bathrooms and i want to do a fair bit more = 2 bathrooms, tiling for kitchen + 2 bathrooms. so we thought about hiring a van and buying in italy. has anyone done this and is it cost effective ? thanks
Re: buying in italy
Buying materials in these or any other EU country is a matter of picking it & pay for it. However, while it may be cheaper to do this, what happens if you have problems or you want to return something??!! While you may have recourse with faulty goods, it's a major hassle if an item of sanitaryware breaks two years down the line. As with many UK sanitaryware suppliers, many items are manufactured in the far east & imported.
Good luck, you'll need it.
Re: buying in italy
France - bricodepot.fr good for shower units taps etc
you will need different tap connections here tho best sower units to go for are the self sealing type, full enclosures from 250 euros
