Cable routed round corner.

by JMGWEY » Tue Nov 23, 2010 10:01 pm

I am routing my new kitchen ring round the top of the room to avoid going into the insulated flat roof.

To meet the minimum bend radius at the corners I will have to deepen the chase at the corner and set the bend into the wall. This would set the cable 20mm deep prior to the corner.

Is this the correct way of doing this?

Regards.

As I have said in other post likely the correct way is to have a deep chase but unlikely many worry about it. With SWA then you have a real problem but with twin and earth just use common sense.

For example don't wire in very cold weather if exceeding the radius.
