My GF has just an emersion tank to heat water and there is no timer. There are two thermostats, each with wiring to a switch each. The bottom of the thermostats is labelled as Economy.
Her meter is pay as you go with dual tarriff and the cheaper tarrif starts at midnight.
She has no timer and doesnt want to stay awake till after midnight to put the water to run at night. If she switches the economy switch on before midnight will it start charging straight away or will that switch be linked to the cheaper electricity feed and start heating water on midnight?
