Can one screed over ceramic tiles

by gatsby1 » Wed Dec 16, 2009 7:35 pm

My bathroom (toilet)has ceramic tiles ,the floor is is not quite level and I wondered if one can screed on top of them?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Why does it have to be exactly level? Unless there is a serious fall from one to the other that detracts from the room visually I'd leave well alone TBH.

Having "screeded" it are you gong to lay other flooring on top? Have you considered the height increase as a result?

Other issues surrounding your screeding proposal but the above first.

Cheers
