CAN'T GET RID OF AIR IN RADIATORS WHEN BLEEDING

Postby terryh1511 » Tue Nov 13, 2007 5:15 pm

Hi,

I have a dedicated boiler for central heating and it serves 9 rads.

Three rads on two separate floors had no heat and so I turned off the system and tried to bledd them.

However, a small amount of air came out of each and then stopped without water being fed in. I left the bleed valves open for a while to see if air would eventually be forced through but nothing happened.

Can you help??
