cast iron wall mounted redrow house number

Does anyone know how to remove a redrow cast iron wall mounted house number plaque from the wall without taking the brick with it??
I have tried to lever it but it will not move. I have also checked as far as I can to see if it was fixed by screws and it doesn't move

Its extremely unlikely that it was built into the wall so it should be fixed by some sort of method from the outside. The screwhead has possible been filled in to avoid rusting dso try some paint stripoper on the front to see if you can uncover any possible points where the screw could have been put through the plaque.
