Cavity wall insulation?

We are moving soon to a new house, It was built in 1993 by bellway homes, will it already have cavity wall insulation or will i have to drill to find out.

I guess It's unlikely to have been built with any. Perhaps the previous owners will know if any has been retrofitted.
