Ceiling pull switch 'fuse blower'

by robertc1357 » Sat Oct 27, 2007 12:05 pm

Hi,
I and an 'international' builder have just attempted to install new toilet lighting and must have got it all wrong as we keep blowing 'big' fuses.
Light switch has following terminals -
COMMON
L1
L2
Case earth
I only want a simple on-off switch for a single light.
What should go where?
Please help!
Yous,
blissfully ignorant

Hi you connect to C&L!, but i think you may have connected to light fitting incorrectly, see 'project' ceiling light on here
