ceiling rose HELP Ask questions and find answers to many subjects relating to electrics and electrical work

can anyone help, i have wired a ceiling rose in living room and thought i had done so correctly as i found the switch cable and wired following diagram for loop circuit. but i now have no lights in kitchen and when i switch kitchen lights on living room light comes on :oops: any answer would be greatfully recieved thanks

Hi, you say you have indentified switch wire so it's easy now?
Do this
1) All cpc or earths together
2) All reds or browns if new colours loop together
3) Neutrals blacks or blues if new colours to blue flex side of light
4) returnig switch wire black or blue if new colours to brown flex side of light.
Be safe and isolate circuit before you do any work.
