    Postby TerryG » Sun Aug 05, 2007 5:20 pm

But i have a 4th wire loom with a red, blue and an earth that has been cut back, I'm not sure where they should be connected to, van you help.

THIS RED , BLUE AND EARTH ? R U SURE IT DOES NOT CONTAIN
A YELLOW CORE ( TAPED UP OR CUT ).
THIS COULD B A FEED TO A LOAD SUCH AS A FAN , OUTSIDE LIGHT ECT.
IF BLUE IS IN WITH BLACKS / BLUES ( NEUTRAL CONNECTION )
AND RED IS IN MIDDLE TERMINAL OF EXISTING LIGHTING ROSE THEN THIS IS LOOP FEED ( PERMANENT LIVE ).
HAVE THIS CABLE BEEN ADDED FOR FURTHER WIRING LATER ON AND
NOT YET BEEN PUT INTO SERVICE ?
ANY FURTHER DOUBTS U WOULD B WISE TO GET SOMEONE IN.
