    cement filler

    Postby rinkydinkydooodaa » Wed Apr 02, 2008 8:13 pm

    Hi
I have just just finished stripping off the bathroom walls (prep for tiling) only problem is that by the toilet waste pipe great big chunks of internal wall have come off leaving the outer red brick showing. Can I just fill area with cement ?
    Help appreciated.

yes use a course sand and 4:1 mix, dont embed any copper pipe in the cement and is best to wrap the toilet pipe in denso tape or similar where it passes through the wall
