central heating funny sound

hi guys my central heating works fine but i have just noticed that when the thermastat turns it off there is a sound coming from the radiators sounds like there is small pebbles regurgitatin inside

pls help

Could be air, have tried bleeding the rads?

how much should i bleed them i have done but nothing comes out appart from water and the noise only happens when the radiators are cooling

Can sometimes just be the valve vibrating, I wouldn't expect it to only vibrate when the boiler is off though.

Check the valves, if slightly closed try to remember where they're set to as the system has probably been balanced - try opening the radiator valves fully and see if the noise stops.

from your description i'd say it's in the rads themselves. try adding a cleanser. the only solution is flushing the system out or new rads.
